Waiting Time
For airport pickups, Airports Pickup allows passengers a maximum of 1 hour from the time their flight lands to meet their driver. After this period, waiting time is charged at £20 per hour, calculated pro rata, regardless of the reason for the delay.
Customers may request a “deferred” pickup time, specifying a certain number of minutes after the flight lands. However, no additional waiting time will be granted beyond the requested period. If passengers are ready earlier than scheduled, they will not be compensated for waiting until the arranged pickup time.
Unless otherwise specified in advance via email to airportpickup016@gmail.com, Airports Pickup will assume a ‘standard’ collection time.
For non-airport journeys, waiting time is also charged at £20 per hour, pro rata, starting from the scheduled pickup time or for any stops made en route.
Tolls
All toll charges are included in the instant online quotes.
Amendments
Any amendments to a booking must be made via email or telephone, and will be confirmed by email. Amendments should not be made directly with the driver.
Re-Booking
All bookings must be processed through the office via the website, telephone, or email. This ensures that confirmations are sent out and the journey is insured.
Cancellations
Cancellations are accepted with at least 24 hours’ notice. A £7 or 10% (whichever is higher) administration/transaction fee will apply per journey. All cancellations must be made via email, and you will receive a confirmation from us.
If you do not receive an email confirmation from Airports Pickup regarding your cancellation, it means the cancellation has not been received. In such cases, please call our out-of-hours number at 07398 00 0016.
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
Complaints
Any service-related complaints should be submitted in writing to our office, preferably by replying to your confirmation email. All complaints must be filed within 30 days of the event in question.
